Our dogs can act like children most of the time. That is why we always try to keep a keen eye on them just like we would with children. We know that when they are alone, they are capable of going on a rampage and destroying practically anything that they set their sights on.
On a Monday morning, Christine Amurao of Cavite, Philippines awoke to discover that something horrifying had happened in her room. Her hands and bedsheets were stained with a rosy-pink hue and she first believed it to be blood. Fortunately, it was not blood.
However, the rosy-pink hue happened because her three dogs ran amok in her room.
She left her room to investigate and noticed her three pets Sushi, Sparkle, and Toffee being mischievous. They were consuming a colorant’s plastic packaging, and it turned out that it was the ingredient that she uses to make lip scrub and tint. That’s when she discovered what had happened while she was sleeping.
Christine and her housemates could not help but giggle at the situation. And this was especially due to the fact that the mischievous puppies had turned pink. According to Christine, the puppies probably nibbled at the container of the colorant until it broke.
The three puppies were already pink when she saw them after opening her eyes. Fortunately for the mischievous puppies, the pigment was edible and made from natural components. Because Christine utilizes natural substances in her lip tints, the puppies were protected from dangerous toxins.
In addition to the puppies, their home was also painted in pink hues. Therefore, Christine cleaned the house and bathed the three pink dogs. She had to give them two baths to try to remove the color off their fur. Thankfully, her roommates helped her with house cleaning and dog bathing.
The dogs stayed pink despite the baths that they were given. But it’s a good thing that the color was not permanent and will wash off soon.
