Most couples, upon learning that they are expecting a child, become extremely ecstatic and cannot contain their joy. This typically calls for a party with family and friends. And then a welcome party is what happens when the new family member arrives. It is really a very exciting event!
Pregnant women may experience an overwhelming range of emotions. She looks forward to the event for the next nine months, although feeling joyous, elated, restless, and anxious at the same time, knowing that a new life is developing within her.
A woman’s pregnancy is an extraordinary adventure in her life. It comes with a tremendous amount of responsibility. All of these thoughts intensify the feelings.
Speaking of responsibility, some women are already familiar with parenting, particularly if they have experience caring for someone else’s children or a pet. Or if they have grown up babysitting or taking care of their younger siblings.
Most people believe that caring for a human infant is comparable to caring for a pet. On the other hand, if a couple has been caring for a pet prior to having a child, the situation is different. There is an advantage to understanding what it is like to be a parent. Still, they do not know how their pet will react to the addition of a child to the household.
It is just like this couple who own a dog. They were concerned about the dog’s behavior once the baby was born.
When the moment came, the new mother gave birth to a healthy baby girl. And the family’s concerns were alleviated when they witnessed their favorite dog enthusiastically greet his new newborn human sister.
They recognized that their dog was overjoyed by the arrival of his baby sister and would make an ideal older sibling.
