We’re all aware of what happens to dog owners the moment their pets disappear from their sight. Their world crumbles, they panic, and they waste no time searching for their babies. They find themselves on a rollercoaster of emotions that only ends when they get reunited with their pups.
That said, have you ever wondered how dogs feel the moment their owners disappear from their sight? The question sounds silly, but you know we have a point. Have you ever stopped to ask how dogs feel the moment they lose their humans?
A solo jeepney ride
A video that made rounds online in 2018 showed everyone how dogs feel when they lose sight of their owners. It featured a dog riding a jeepney in Cebu City, Philippines. It was a desperate attempt to locate his human.
Nova Tapuyao was on the same jeep at that time. Seeing the dog didn’t surprise her at all. What caught her attention, however, was the way the dog was behaving during the ride.
She noticed that the pooch kept looking outside the window. By the looks of it, the pupper was anxiously looking for someone. That made Tapuyao realize that the dog was trying to find his owner.
Reunited at last
Tapuyao had already planned on helping the dog when the jeep stopped at an intersection. At that moment, she heard someone shout, “Vince!” As it turns out, the dog’s owner was on a truck right beside the jeep! He was surprised to see that his fur pal left home to look for him!
Tapuyao saw how relieved Vince was to finally see his human. His tail started wagging non-stop the moment he heard a familiar voice call him. His owner approached the jeep to get him and carried him to the truck as bystanders gave them a round of applause.
