Have you seen the video of the dog delivering Chick-fil-A to their owner? Everyone is smitten, and you’ll be too.
Nick, the customer, places a food order on his phone, requesting a curbside pickup from the restaurant in Carraway Village. The location is near the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He and his Golden Retriever Ellie arrive for the order.
What happens next is what you call excessive cuteness. As Nick stands beside his car, Ellie runs across the parking lot to an employee holding a food bag. She grabs the food with her mouth out the worker’s hand and proceeds to trot back to Nick happily.

It’s the smoothest transfer you’ll see. And Ellie is even careful to adjust her speed not to spill the contents. You can tell she’s a class act.
An employee records a video of Ellie in action and posts it to their Facebook page. Viewers adore Ellie. Her video is the sensation of the internet, with over 2 million views.
Like most restaurants, Chick-fil-A is taking precautions amid the coronavirus. For many, a restaurant with a drive-thru or curbside pickup option is most convenient. With Ellie’s arrival, an employee announces on the Facebook page that Chick-fil-A is proud to serve ‘four-legged’ guests.
Facebook comments on the video are quite funny. One user says their two dogs can’t distinguish which food bowl is theirs, no less deliver food. Others jokingly speak of their dogs who would gladly stuff their faces the moment they got the bag.
Some plan to drive down to North Carolina in hopes of catching a glimpse of the newfound glamour dog. Others wish their dogs would deliver food for them, as Ellie does. Someone else writes it’s not only the cutest video they’ve seen but at 1.4 million views in a single day, Ellie is officially famous.
Well said. Chick-fil-A now prominently features Ellie with the company slogan, ‘Eat Mor Chikin’, on their page. Nick says that retrieving the food is one of Ellie’s favorite things to do.

Well, Nick, now Ellie is our favorite. We love her for being such a good girl!
