Most people consider pit bulls as monsters, violent beasts out for blood and abominations. Aside from their enormous jaws and hulking body, they don’t know a baby. A baby asking for love and is ready, always ready to throw away their lives to save yours.
They are mostly not noticed in shelters because of their breed and bad reputation. However, they are such excellent family dogs, worthy and loyal of all the love they can have. Ember is one of them.
A female pit bull left alone on the streets of Ohio, saved by Adore-A-Bull Rescue, Ohio’s pioneer Pit Bull rescue team, dedicated to protecting those in need. After she was nurtured, she was put up for adoption immediately.
After losing their beloved Derby, the Daniels family soon adopted Ember, a pit bull. Ember acted immediately and showed her gratitude to her new family. She became the latest part of their family.
As part of the Daniels family, Ember showed extreme care to everyone, especially for his new brother and new best friend, the 10-year-old boy, Tre. They love playing and lying around their couch.
Tre’s mother, Tracy, said that Ember sat beside their bed as they slept and began to grumble lowly. They were not considered a growl but an odd grumble from adjusting to her new life. Ember became their new guardian, watching them as they slept in comfort.
One faithful morning, Ember came inside their room to wake them up, which was weird as she did not usually disturb her owners when they slept. Tracy thought Ember wanted to go outside, so she opened their room door. Ember hastily ran to her brother’s bathroom.
Tracy found Tre on the floor having a seizure, so Ember woke her up. One of the dogs’ functions is to detect several medical conditions and hear as far away as a quarter of a mile. When Tre’s seizure started, she knew what to do and acted.
They immediately brought Tre to the hospital, and they made a successful recovery. The Daniels, overwhelmed with joy, credited Ember as Tre’s savior. They wanted people to know that pit bulls are great dogs and thanked the rescue team who saved Ember, which allowed them to meet her.
