Anne has been a foster mom for quite a while, and she recently took in two newborn puppies named Fig and Fern. Since they were newborns, they had to be fed every hour and a half. This was a tedious task because she had to wake up early in the morning just to feed the two.
Anne did not complain because she loved doing it for the puppies. She did not mind doing it as well because she was never alone. Her dog, Thunder, was always there to accompany her. Thunder loved helping because he became fond of the two puppies.
He wanted to be involved in everything that the puppies were doing. That’s why he would be with his mom when she took care of the tiny canines. Thunder would be there just watching and observing them.
Anne was quite happy about it since Thunder was there with her. As the puppies grew, they became more curious about Thunder. It was not until they were four weeks old that they followed Thunder around.
They were always by his side and observing what he was doing. They were like his little ducklings who followed him everywhere. This has amused Anne, and she was glad that the puppies had someone to look up to.
They were learning a lot from Thunder because they would follow what he did. They would even play with whatever toy that he was playing with.
They have gotten so close, which made it more challenging to let the puppies go. Thunder was truly sad to see his friends go.
Thankfully, his sadness only lasted for a couple of days because his mom got new foster puppies. Thunder became excited again. Anne was delighted that Thunder loved fostering as much as she did. She couldn’t think of a better assistant.
